Earth's Greatest Enemy Film Screening

Timbre Cafe in Lismore will be hosting a monthly film program starting Friday 20th October 2026. The first movie will be Earth's Greatest Enemy, a groundbreaking anti-imperialist environmental documentary, directed by Abbey Martin. Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon is the world’s single largest institutional polluter—spewing carbon, contaminating water, and scarring landscapes across the globe. Combining investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from impacted communities, this film challenges audiences to rethink the hidden costs of a global military empire and its planetary consequences. Middle Eastern inspired food will be available for purchase from Northern Rivers Friends of Palestine from 6pm. Screening will begin at 6:45pm Environmental and anti war activist Juliet Lamont, who was on the last two flotilla missions to Gaza, will be guest speaking.
